Malaysia: Application Procedure for Malaysian Halal Certification for International Manufacturing

On 21 December 2023, the Department of Islamic Development Malaysia (JAKIM) notified of the application procedure for the Malaysian Halal Certification for International Manufacturing. This application procedure will affect food products amongst other items. Application is open for companies registered in Malaysia. Applicants who are eligible to apply for the Halal Certificate are categorised as follows: Branches Subsidiaries company Importers Distributor/ trader Agents in Malaysia The application form can be obtained from here.
